The room was lovely and spacious with all the required facilities and a comfortable bed. The staff was courteous and friendly. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and there was a cooked breakfast provided, which was excellent.
The decor of the rooms and the overall hotel was quaint and pleasant. The location is very near the Bowness Pier and buses to Windermere and everywhere else.
Housekeeping was incomplete on the 2nd day, with cups left unwashed and bath and supplies not replaced. Also, there are no lifts to the upper floors, so that should be kept in mind before booking.

Brilliant location, even though it’s close to the centre we found it quiet and relaxing
Nice and clean , spacious room with comfy beds.

Nice place good location
The place requires some updating we ended up locked out of our room due to a warm out lock I had to borrow tools and remove the lock myself to get back into the room, the hotel management really didn’t seem that bothered, no real apology or reduction in the bill for £178 per night you shouldn’t have to do your own maintenance work!
