We had an overall pleasant stay. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with a good variety of options and fresh products.
The staff was polite, the hotel has a nice atmosphere, and the location is excellent for visiting Brussels. Overall, we would recommend this hotel.
The only inconvenience I experienced was during check-in. My girlfriend arrived before me and initially she was not allowed to enter the room until I arrived. However, after some time, they eventually allowed her to go into the room, which she appreciated. Aside from this, everything else was perfectly fine.

Ideally located, and the room was quite nice!
We faced the road, so it was really loud with people talking and yelling at night! Some areas in room could be cleaner, like headboards.

The location was great as it’s close to the Christmas markets. The room looked quite decent and clean.
The entrance looked dark and dodgy. During our stay, there was always a guy smoking pot right at the entrance. It was really unpleasant.
There was no kettle in the room. We had to go to the first floor to get hot water for tea, which was not very handy.
We were on floor A and the insulation was not that great as you could hear noises from the street despite having all windows closed.

The location of Craves is absolutely ideal for a short stay in Brussels; you’re right in the heart of the city, with a short walk in one direction to Grand Place and the other direction to Centraal station, which has trains to most places you’re likely to go to. The hotel has a gorgeous, atmospheric theme and is very beautiful on the surface. The connected restaurant, Le Conteur, is also absolutely fantastic.
Unfortunately, I found a bed bug in my room (double room 120 in the main building). I was very lucky to find it before I slept and - touch wood - I was not bitten nor did any bed bugs get into my clothes or belongings. The staff member on reception very quickly found me an alternative room when I informed him of this, but he was neither apologetic nor surprised (which I found most concerning). The room I was moved into was an upgrade to the room I actually paid for, which was very kind, however it was right at the front of the hotel so very noisy at night. Obviously I was happier with the noise than bed bugs, so I didn’t complain about this! I know bed bugs can happen anywhere and they aren’t necessarily a sign of poor cleanliness, but this has unfortunately tarred my feelings towards my stay/the hotel in general, especially when paying upwards of €300+ for two nights (as opposed to my bed-bug-less two nights in Antwerp for €120). A massive shame for such a beautiful hotel.
