Ein sehr schönes, liebevoll restauriertes Cottage mit viel liebe zum Detail. Es ist sehr geräumig,, war gut geheizt und gut ausgestattet. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben, aber leider hatten wir auf unserer Rundreise nur 2-3 Nächte pro Stopp geplant. Besonders sind die guten Informationen, die die Eigentümer in mehreren Mappen dem Gast bereit stellen. Auch der Kontakt war sehr nett und freundlich. Das Haus hat einen eigenen Parkplatz und liegt trotz Lage im Zentrum sehr ruhig. Bis zu den Geschäften und Restaurants sind es nur wenige Meter. Auch der Strand und die Kreidefelsen sind zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The house is lovely both inside and out. The location is very quiet both day and night - we visited in February. It's a short walk to the beach and to the beginning of the path which takes you over Seaford head. It is a few minutes walk, or less, to several good resaturants and pubs and a grocery store yet the house still feels tucked away. The house is very spacious but still feels warm and welcoming. The two larger bedrooms were very elegant and the beds were extremely comfortable with really cosy bedding. The smallest - third bedroom with bunk bed - has a nice view over the back garden. The care the owners have taken really shows - they have compiled binders with thier favorite walks complete with maps and difficulty levels so if you don't have time to do a lot of research they have done it for you. They have prepared other information on local attractions and pubs/restaurants and they left us a very generous welome basket. Lastly, when we thought we had broken the coffee machine, Laura (one of the owners), was very understanding and was easy to reach. Thank you for a lovely stay!
