De locatie was perfect: echt letterlijk aan de boulevard, je zit meteen op het strand. Seaford is een erg leuke plaats, gemoedelijke inwoners en veel te doen in de omgeving. Veel op loopafstand van het appartement. We voelden ons erg welkom met het welkomstpakket, verse melk in de koelkast, koffie aanwezig, hotelzeepjes, etc. Ruime hoeveelheid handdoeken aanwezig. Het appartement is verrassend groot. Ondanks dat het in de kelder is, is er in elke ruimte veel daglicht door grote ramen.
De meubels waren allemaal erg versleten. Bedden oud en deels kapot, bank erg doorgezakt en versleten. Barkrukken te gammel om op te zitten. Mijn rug was niet blij met deze week vakantie.
Ondanks de grote ramen met veel daglicht, heb je geen uitzicht. Overal kijk je op muren uit. Een dagje in het appartement doorbrengen is dus niet prettig omdat je je opgesloten voelt.
Wifi deed het niet overal.
Erg gehorig, je hoort alles van de bovenburen. Onze bovenburen hadden een baby.

Honestly, as a whole, it was a wonderful experience. So much so, I asked the host if we could extend our stay by another night and he very kindly accommodated. So close to the beach, it was like the beach was ours. The flat had everything we needed, the bathrooms were excellent - i loved my power showers and even had a bath which was huge and very clean! Kitchen was very well equipped and the flat was super spacious. Special mention that I had asked if the flat had a fan in advance, even though the host said there wasn't, and I was happy to bring my own, there was a lovely brand new powerful fan waiting for us, which was a very kind touch from the host. Thank you so much!
Outside space was lovely, very well equipped for an enjoyable holiday with table, chairs, bbq...amazing all round really.
The bed!! Honestly, sleeping was really rough for me. The master bedroom's mattress is atrocious and is begging to be replaced for something more ergonomic. Most nights we would sleep on the couch, which isn't ideal.
Also, the humidity/damp smell in the flat (being a basement flat by the sea) was pretty overwhelming at times, especially the first few days til we got used to it. I would strongly recommend a couple of dehumidifier/air purifiers for the living room and master bedroom in particular.

Great location, clean, wonderful welcome - the flat was decorated for Christmas, including a pre-laid dining table with Christmas crackers and wine.
Cold dining room / conservatory. Dark hallway, limited light due to it being a basement flat.
