The Sala Vecchia is the right place for those who want to get away from the hectic city life and a stressful routine to devote themselves and immerse themselves in an experience of total relaxation.
In the beautiful valley of the Casentino you will be able to taste all the delicacies of the Tuscan territory.
Thanks to the strategic position of the house, you can quickly visit the area. The house is divided in two floors in which you will find cozy rooms furnished in a classical rural Tuscany way. At the first floor you'll find a living room with all that you can need. The Holiday house externally offers plenty of space with a garden and outdoor areas leading directly to hiking trails directly in the park.
In the period of October it is possible to participate in the traditional chestnut harvest directly inside our chestnut grove located in the splendid Casentino Forest Park
In summer, but not only, you can take part in some events in the valley such as Truffle Festivals, Sagra delle Sagre, Raviolo Festival, Tortello and many others.
At certain times of the year, important sporting events will be present, such as the famous Badia Prataglia Trail and the renowned Rally del Casentino.
Inside the house, the Sala Vecchia is immersed in the splendid Casentino Forest National Park and you will find everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
You will have the opportunity to take wonderful walks in nature in one of the most beautiful parks in Italy.

- Washing machine
- Fireplace
- Wood oven
- Internet connection (on request)
Our house is located about 5 minutes from the center of Badia Prataglia.
The Sala Vecchia is located in a position that allows anyone to visit some of the most famous villages in Italy in the towns of Poppi, Bibbiena, Badia Prataglia and Stia.
Not to mention some very famous religious and artistic destinations like: Chiusi della Verna with its sanctuary of San Francesco and Camaldoli with its natural areas and the hermitage.
The house is located just over an hour's drive from some Italian cities such as Arezzo and Florence. We offer transport services on request.
At the Sala Vecchia you can offer some services that will accompany your stay and your relaxation.
The house offers a lot of space for the entertainment of young and old.
Animals are allowed.
We also have Italian cuisine services available.
Upon request, we also offer airport-dwelling transport services.

casa bella, zona bellissima, persone sempre molto gentili, location perfetta per famiglie anche con bimbi molto piccoli! suggerimento sulla casa: studierei meglio le dotazioni della cucina, buttando via un po' di carabattole inutili e integrandole con cose che mancano (per esempio: le mancanti teglie per il forno, che non siano la piastra standard in ferro smaltato, che c'è; oppure un frullatorimo a immersione basico, utile per chi ha bambini ecc). per il resto tutto benissimo, e hurrá per il forno da pizza! torneremo
