The view is breathe taking. The staff at the reception is excellent.
Worn out furniture. Apartment wasn’t heated even that I made several requests. The temperature outside was 4 degrees overnight. They brought us the stand up heater which made situation better but problem was never solved during 4 days stay.

The hotel has an amazing view to lake Thun, very friendly staff, great restaurand and amenities. And 10+ for the Italian gentlement playing the piano at the bar Saturday evening, he was a great entertainer.

It’s a beautiful hotel, apartments are spacious, greatly equipped, kitchen was amazing with dining table! And beautiful mountain view. Breakfast on such a balcony is simply a dream! We travelled with our dog and it was great space for all of us. And everyone was so friendly! Other attractions were a bonus - heated pool, sauna, patio, EV charging in the garage. And just around the corner amazing hiking paths! Perfect to relax in the nature. We loved it!
Honestly nothing. There is just one suggestion - making “adults only” schedule for the pool. On weekends pool was totally occupied by kids from early morning till late evening hours, jumping, splashing and yelling. Not much relaxing…

The restaurant had exceptional food, and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The small village was lovely, especially at Christmas. The Hotel did a fantastic job with Christmas decorations, especially at the entrance, where we had Gluhwein on Christmas eve and a fabulous buffet for dinner in the restaurant. The bar was also a great place to relax with fantastic views.
It is very much a family hotel, so if you have dinner at the first seating, 6 to 8pm it is overrun with kids screaming and running about. Our room was small and in need of renovation, with holes and stains in the carpet. There is no daily housekeeping or replacement of provisions. The bathroom was extremely small and unsafe. The pool opens at 8pm so you cannot have an early morning swim, and it is than too busy with children. No adult hours.
There wasn't much to do, with the gondola out of action until January 1st and very little snow in December. Don't be fooled by their photos. We were told it rarely snows at the hotel by staff. We had to drive to Grindelwald. We asked why there wasn't any notice of the Gondola not working in English and the receptionist just pointed to a small sign in German and French. Not sure what she was on! Apparently, they had known back in November that the Neider horn was closed until January 1st. However, they had no such information on their website at the time when we were booking (November). We wouldn't have booked the hotel had we known. That was very poor and signage generally is also very poor. Could do a lot better.
It does not compare to a Hotel like The Cambrian at Adelboden, which is also 4 stars.
