The hotel is in a convenient safe location with ample parking nearby. It’s a grand old building, but was undergoing renovations when we visited, so there was scaffolding and workmen around. It should be lovely when finished.
The air conditioning was poor- we were unable to turn it down enough for a comfortable sleep. We had the engineers out to it, and they improved it but not nearly enough. 23 degrees was the minimum you could expect. The apology in the form of a plate of macarons was a nice touch, but didn’t make up for a poor nights sleep unfortunately.
