    This was a ladt minute decision to catch a gig in zlincoln on Friday night and to stop over for a couple of days. Tbe vast majority of the staff were fantastic and really helpful. Tbe information was not consistent EG Tbd first evening we were told however busy they were, there are always tables held back for residents, the second evening a fairly morose staff member told us that was untrue and looked at me and said " well its valentines". I had to bite my tongue not to make a comment back like really is that so?". The food was good quality and reasonably priced. Breakfast worked ok and though you needed to pay an extra £5 to upgrade from a classic to a full English when the menu only showed a 70p hike, other than that was OK. Black pudding eas sliced so thinly I gave had thicker slices of ham in a sandwich but that's a cookery issue and there is not a qualified chef doing breakfast. The rest was fine. The bedroom was great except I ordered a double bed and we had a twin but it was clean and extremely comfortable . Once next door gave up their valentines activity we were able to sleep and had a good night. We would happily book again.
