Friendly, helpful staff.
Beautifully appointed rooms - ours was spotlessly clean. It had a comfortable and large bed, attractive and functional furnishings, good size and quality TV, large and comfortable ensuite shower room, with ecellent water pressure (we know this can be a bug bear for some).
Guests should be aware that there is no lift, however, staff are as accommodating as possible.
The bar and lounge are attractive and relaxing areas, with reasonable pricing.
Breakfast is continental, although you can order (via a QR code) something hot from the cafe across the courtyard (all part of Stokes Coffee & Teas) and it will be delivered direct to your breakfast table.
Parking could not be closer, although it is a public car park that requires payment.
The location of this hotel is within a 3 minute walk of the entrance to the castle, about a 10 minute stroll to the cathedral (a tour is well worth taking - we were surprised how much we enjoyed it) between these two is the Bailgate retail street.
There are numerous restaurants and watering holes all from a 1 minute to 10 minute stroll away.
In summary, would definitely recommend this hotel and we look forward to returning here soon.

Excellent hotel particularly the warm welcome by the staff. We arrived early and were told the room was ready which was really appreciated.
Good location to visit anywhere in Lincoln City by foot. Would stay again definitely.

Couldn't be better positioned - right next to castle and short walk from Minister. We got a a pair of double rooms with a bathroom - very useful travelling with an older child. Decor basic, but decent sized spaces. Light sleepers might find it noisy with windows open, due to pub and restaurant nearby, but it was all quiet by midnight.
