Decided to take a few days away and visit Lincoln.
Selected the White Hart as near to the Cathedral in the old town.
Nice hotel (and although we didn’t eat there, so many nice places to eat in the area), we used the bar facilities which were good.

Unbeatable location,out of the door and castle is right and cathedral is left. Bars restaurants and cafes abound. Hotel facilities are excellent bar is vibrant and buzzing, rooms very good. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order and of high quality. Best of all the staff are highly skilled and attentive. Very happy and highly recommended

The hotel was nice location great very busy bar which took ages to get served. Unfortunately we booked a room with a queen bed it was two mattresses together with a dip in the middle awful nights sleep with an important presentation to do today with little sleep was very disappointing.
