The church clock does go off regularly but we were also there over Easter weekend so I can imagine it was more active then. Didn’t bother us tho as we were up at 9 for breakfast anyways!

Spacious room. 10 min from main train station and right around corner from tram. Felt safe and staff were friendly. Affordable. Small fridge with a key to store food in community kitchen. Great top floor balcony.
Things to note- The bed was uncomfortable for me-too soft. The room while large-is very bare bones kind of reminiscent of a dorm room. This was good for is for our time ( 2 days) and we chose based on affordability-and not needing all the “hotel amenities” The rooms can get loud(church bells and street noise)-but they supplied ear plugs, which did work well for me. The breakfast is vegetarian- some fruits, bread, yogurts and cheese.

The room is spacious.
The washroom is very small (especially in comparison with the room size). There’s no door or curtain for the shower, which causes water to flood after shower. There are bell rings (from a church or chapel nearby) once every 15 mins (they provided ear plugs though). There’s a laundry room, but the instructions are in German and French only. No luggage storage service after 3PM (both store and pick-up).
