The property is just a flat, five minute walk to the centre of Skala so in that respect everything that Skala has to offer is immediately to hand. The host, Yiannis, came and met us at the ferry port on arrival and transferred ourselves and our luggage to the apartment which was extremely welcome. He also transferred us back to the port on departure. Yiannis is always on hand at the apartments if you require anything and is the perfect host. Our apartment was large and airy, well appointed, clean and had everything you need for a perfect stay. We wouldn't hesitate to use this property again when visiting Patmos in the future.
The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor which in itself is fine but you do have to remember to bend over slightly when getting into and out of bed as the headroom is not sufficient for a six foot gentleman. Having said that I didn't bump my head once and it's just an observation rather than a criticism.

It was newly furnished
The photos were of the top floor so a bit deceiving. Also we stayed 2 nights and had no cleaning service. Stayed on Lipsi much cheaper and so much better where the room was cleaned each day. Also the hosts were not around much and there wasn’t much in terms of tea coffee etc for self catering. Not really good value for money.
