Lovely stay thank you. Breakfast was available, with an honesty box, but I just had tea and water and I left money on the fridge.
The aircon was welcome and the flat was secure with my own key and the owner had left clear instructions for me, as he was away when I arrived.
For me, the location was a little far out although a taxi was approx 9-10 euros so that was not difficult. I walked in and out of town 3 times which kept me fit anyway and the walk was approx 25 mins. (5 mins in a taxi).

We were welcomed by the host at the gate. Even though the front of the building is a plain business space, the gate opens to an oasis. The apartment was large and charming with wonderful air conditioning. If you want to cook in, everything is available to do so. There are restaurants within walking distance and grocery store very nearby.

There was a pleasant person when I arrived, and a coffee machine with capsules was available in the kitchen. Convenient for the bus and train station, Porta Nuova is only a 20-minute walk from the property.
I find the description of the property as 'recently renovated' a bit insulting. We clearly have a different view on that. Additionally, the picture of the property is from the yard, which looks quiet and cosy, but, in fact, the rooms overlook a very busy road.
In the shower of the shared bathroom, I found a live cockroach in the morning...
Breakfast pre-packaged croissants, which are ultra-processed like the other biscuits. So, no, it is not a 'typical Italian breakfast' as I read in one of the reviews.
When you want to go to the centre in the evening, you have to pass a not very nice (but lit) long tunnel.
