The property is excellently located in Venice and the staff are very friendly. We loved the roof top terrace which was part of our room booking. There was no noise in the area during the night which made our stay comfortable. The rooms were very clean.
The attic room we stayed in did not look like the pictures on booking.com, so we were a bit surprised upon arrival. There were a lot of stairs to climb to get to our room and even more to the terrace. We totally understand this what with it being an old building but it would have been helpful to know this before booking. In general, the room looked quite tired and dated.

Apt San Polo is in a fantastic location, just off the Campo San Polo, about 15min walk from the train station, 10min walk to the Rialto Bridge and 15min walk to San Marco. The roof top terrace is amazing. Be aware that the 2nd bedroom is on a mezzanine level.
Four flights of stairs! But we knew about them in advance and this is what it takes to get that rooftop terrace.

Everything. Beautiful city and the apartment matched the city vibes and feeling.
Bit hard to find the reception at first, but nothing that I would say hurts the customer experience in any way.

Well the exterior was pretty. To be fair, the prices were most likely very inflated for the biennale, and perhaps if I'd been there with more people, and used the second bedroom it might have seemed like better value
This may well be more to do with Booking.com than the venue. I requested San Marco and this property came up but it then proceeded to book me into another location. Yes it did say 'station apartment' but if you're unfamiliar with the city this is quite unhelpful
