Ferme Saint Christophe

Located in a small village but the host was marvellous at providing us delightful breakfasts, and directing us around the neighborhood, restaurants and everything.

Very neat place not far from Mont Saint Michel. Plenty of space for our group with an option to add more sleeping space with a sofa bed. The owner was very helpful, friendly, and readily available. It was warm, which was nice after walking under the rain all day.

We had to clean quite a bit before we left, otherwise we would have been charged extra. The cleaning request was way more than what other Airbnb require. Since we spent only one night, it was not too bad. Yet, it had been raining a lot so we floor became dirty immediately and we had to mop it before we left. I wonder how much do people have to clean after a week vacation.

Excellent communication. Everything as described - simple but very comfortable.

We liked that we could bring our dog. The unit had all the necessary plates and knives and forks.

1. We were told on arrival that if we wanted the owner to clean the apartment at the end of our stay it would be €35 but if we clean it no charge. I thought it was if we leave it in a mess so I left it. We always leave a place neat and tidy. He meant that we must clean it for the next stay!! That is disgusting. When I pay for accommodation (especially at this rate) I expect a deep clean to be done by the owners after every stay and it should be in the cost. 2. The beds were not made. 3. For an overnight stay there are no bathroom or kitchen essentials so bring your own. Soap, dry cloth, coffee, tea etc.
