It is a lovely clean friendly hotel. The staff work hard to keep the area in the bar / reestaurant tidy service was excellant.
A lot of stairs to gain entry to the reception area from Corstorphine Street. No lift.

The breakfast was fresh and well-prepared, great variety and generous portions, quick service and everything tasted homemade. Great spot, close to public transport and local attractions. Clean towels and fresh bedding were provided every day.

The hotel lobby is beautiful and very warm and inviting, it was also very easy to find my way around the hotel, all the staff were super nice and helpful. We're planning to stay at the hotel next time we visit Edinburgh.
It wasn't a big problem but my toddler found some things in the room that must have been forgotten by a previous guest. The parking is very busy, and we saw multiple people parking at the hotel and then going to the zoo it would be good if the hotel added some way to make sure only hotel guests were using the parking lot.

Location was handy. Buses regular. Bathroom didn’t have that nasty smell of an enclosed bathroom
Stuff at check in were unprepared and faffing around to find paperwork.
Turning out onto main road is a bit hairy.
Worst bit was 7 separate emails from the hotel after we booked. Annoying.
