Spa was excellent, except the infra red sauna. I am a traditionalist and prefer the stove, also the door didnt seal the entrance so continually leaking heat. steam room was excellent.
breakfast was adequate but wouldnt sustain a day on the fells. there seems to be a stringent portion control going on from the kitchen. the tables in the dining room are too small and cluttered with cutlery for 4 courses and a glass bird. This made dining somewhat unnecessarily cramped.
food was good but somehow unappetising. only dined on one night. resorted to pasties and baked poptato from local cafes and shops to fill us uop.

Hot tub, bed size, bathroom shower facilities. Hotel location. Breakfast was great value.
Nothing really. Only minor gripe was drink selection at bar wasnt to our taste one evening when we wanted a cocktail. Otherwise faultless.

The staff throughout our stay were excellent and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast and evening meal were very good. And of course the location is outstanding
