Manoir Du Parc (Adults only)

Nice large property with trees, quiet, pool, hot tub and the room is very spacious with all of the amenities and fine touch.

We loved staying at Manoir du Parc. We had a very warm welcome from the owners Gaelle and Bruno. Everything we needed to know was explained in detail. The swimming pool was absolutely wonderful after a very hot day (34 degrees) riding to Amboise on our motorcycle. Breakfast came in a basket which was superb and consisted of fresh pastries with butter and jam and a large orange juice. We also had the choice of tea or coffee. The coffee machine in the room was probably one of the best as we like weak coffee and suited our taste. We had a list offered for restaurants and they're very close to the hotel. We chose Chez Bruno in the town and it was brilliant. We had a studio room in the stables and had everything needed including air con which was a godsend. Overall we could base our stay here for a few days to reap the benefits.of the hotel and town. Superb!!

Only one tiny tiny gripe was the shower head and pressure which my wife said she struggled with because she has long hair. I didn't find this a problem myself.

Location is topped only by the amenities. It is within walking distance of everything. We also got excellent recommendations on places to eat, things to see, and things to avoid. The swimming pool was a great oasis particularly as we were here in a hot spell. And... air conditioning made the visit. I had forgotten to look, and delightfully surprised that I picked this great location.

The accommodation was in a very convenient position which made walking around Amboise terrific. The gardens and pool area were nice.

The room felt a bit barren and cold. Everything was clean but compared to other places we have stayed the room needed some adding of colour and warmth. The pillows were flat.
