The room design, the soft carpet, and the beautiful picture on the wall of the girl skating perfectly reflect the Alps and one of the most popular activities in Annecy in a beautiful way. I also loved the cool air conditioning after staying in hotels without AC, and some that had AC but with very weak cooling. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the room, the quiet atmosphere, the spacious bathroom, and the fact that everything needed was available in the bathroom.

The room did not include slippers. The refrigerator was not working properly and did not keep anything cold. At night, my son went to ask for an extra blanket, but he was only given a bedsheet and told that this was the only thing available. There was also no iron in the room, and we had to request one before it was brought to us. In the morning before check-out, I asked for towels for my son to take a shower because we had already used the previous day’s towels. The towels were delayed even though we had a trip to Geneva afterward. I asked again, and they were delayed once more. After that, someone knocked on the door. My husband opened it, and I heard a woman speaking to him angrily in French while handing over the towels. We could not understand exactly what she was saying, but her tone and attitude were very rude and it was obvious that she was upset. The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was nice, but it is not in the city center.

Quite hard to find but plenty of parking. Our room was large and comfortable. Bathroom was a strange setup but perfectly adequate. Breakfast was good with a good selection of food.

Nothing really, although it seemed to be understaffed. The lady on reception in the morning was also looking after the breakfast room! There was a leaking pipe in the hallway ceiling on the 2nd floor with a large box underneath to collect the drips. There was a kettle in our room but the tea/coffee was non existent and there were paper cups! Some of the food in the breakfast room looked tired 😫

We pre paid for breakfast and dinner. At the 1st night at dinner, the veal was not cooked enough and the fish was not fresh. On the 2nd night, we were told we would not have any hot food, instead only bread, ham and cheese. I was with my 2 children so that was a difficult aside from not getting what we had paid for.
