Beautiful building in great location very close to the small but cute historical part of Tournus and next to a Michelin star restaurant. Hotel has a nice terrace outside, must be wonderful in Summer (we were there just now). Staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good. They offer 'snacks' in a separate part of the lobby, where you can also have a drink. They turned out not to be just snacks but real dining and great food (not very cheap :-)). Room was good, comfy bed. Bathroom has no shower but a bath with a shower, which for elderly people might be challenging. All in all a very pleasant stay!
Only small comments. One is the cold air coming in with every person entering the hotel. In the Summer no problem, in Winter time it leads to cold gushes in the dining / drinks area, despite a cosy fireplace. The second comment is the quality of the design of the dining area which we felt could use an upgrade.

The rooms and bathrooms are very dated -the duvet was far too thick but the bed itself was comfortable. The breakfast for the money was excellent
