Stayed at the Mercure Le Mans Centre and would definitely return. Lovely room with a bath, excellent blackout curtains and really good WiFi. The building itself is beautiful — a converted old insurance company with an incredible stained glass windows full of character 10 mins from Cathedral and old quarter.
It’s around a 20-minute walk from the station, which was easy enough. Breakfast was genuinely amazing: boil-your-own eggs, incredible homemade cakes baked daily, local honey, fresh bread, croissants, grapes and fruit available throughout the day, and they even lay items out for you to take away. A really thoughtful touch.
Staff were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about the local area, and late check-out was much appreciated.
Only small gripe was the lift, which seems to have a life of its own and definitely isn’t big enough for hotel.
The layout of the stairs/floors can also feel a bit confusing — I got stuck on the first floor before realising I needed to go via the second!

Main entrance amazing rooms clean and tidy a beds and pillows lush
Great location but sadly loads of road building works in the area which is not fault but made it chaos trying to find
