We had a truly wonderful stay at Blue Bay Beach House – everything was absolutely perfect! The location is unbeatable – the house is literally just 30 steps from the sea, situated on the first line. You don’t even need to walk to the beach – you’re already there! There’s a lovely grassy area right in front of the house with comfortable sun loungers and umbrellas, so you can relax and enjoy the sun without even leaving the property.
The house itself is very cozy, clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need. The kitchen is especially well stocked – from utensils and cookware to even small details like plenty of adapters for European plugs, which was really convenient. There’s also a barbecue grill with charcoal, perfect for making your own delicious meals right by the sea.
One of the highlights was the incredible hospitality of the host. He was extremely kind and welcoming – he even brought us bottled water, refreshing drinks, and a bottle of wine upon arrival. It made us feel truly taken care of from the very beginning.
If you're not planning to travel around the island too much, you might not even need to rent a car. A taxi from/to the airport is much cheaper, and the ride takes only about 10 minutes.
All in all, this place is a hidden gem – peaceful, beautifully located, and very thoughtfully maintained. Highly recommended, and we would love to come back!
The only downside was the weak internet connection – it's good enough for browsing social media, but not reliable for anything heavier like RDP or remote work.

De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam, als ook goed te bereiken. Het huis is netjes, schoon en de locatie is top. Je moet wel een huurauto hebben want je zit niet in het toeristisch gebied, maar dat vonden wij juist erg fijn. De zee zit pal achter de tuin en dat is echt heerlijk.
Warm water viel wat tegen, daar moesten we de electrische boiler voor aanzetten en dat duurde dan wel even.

La maison est située à proximité de l’aéroport mais pas dans les couloirs des avions, ce qui ne nuit donc absolument pas au calme de la résidence. La maison est de plain pied, tournée vers la mer qui se trouve au bout du jardin. Toutes les pièces ont donc une vue mer, ce qui est assez rare. Un patio couvert permet de profiter de l’extérieur même les jours de pluie. Une place de garage couvert permet d’éviter les problèmes de stationnement. L’intérieur de la maison est agréablement décoré, lumineux et très confortable. Tout est particulièrement propre et soigné. La cuisine dispose d’appareils électroménagers quasiment neufs de qualité et d’un nombre impressionnant de vaisselle. Le lit Queen size de la chambre principale est très confortable, et le bruit de la mer qu’on laisse entrer par la fenêtre de la baie vitrée permet de passer des nuits reposantes. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et attentionné. Il répond rapidement aux messages et est toujours soucieux de notre bien être. C’est une adresse que nous conserverons précieusement et nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir lors de notre prochaine escapade dans ce beau pays.
