Host was friendly, location was nice
You have to buy everything upon arrival to be able to make a meal(no salt, oil, paper towel or kitchen towel etc.). The host did supply a sponge upon request so we could at least wash dishes. It's a small expense, but something that would improve the experience.
The a/c units need to be cleaned, they are plugged

De accommodatie lag op een gunstige plek; dichtbij het strand en waren genoeg supermarktjes in de buurt waar je je boodschappen kon doen en er waren veel restaurants in de buurt (bij het strand).
Het wc-papier mocht niet weggegooid worden in de wc door de dunne pijpleidingen.

I really liked the location of the room, there is a terrace and everything you need for the kitchen. But it would be nice if the owner took care of a small snack for visitors, because when the store is closed there is no opportunity to buy food.
The bedroom has a small balcony and underneath it there was a small workshop that made noise all night long, making it impossible to sleep. Overall, the room is comfortable

we absolutely loved the hosts - very nice family and very helpful
location is also super close to the sea and restaurants
1. There is no working stove in the house, the one in the garden was working poorly. we asked to fix it somehow and owners changed the gas vessel the same day. unfortunately it didn’t help… and it’s super uncomfortable for long stay
2. Mosquitos… I understand that this is because of the location and so on. But if there are so many people who are not satisfied with it why you just don’t put the mosquito net to the doors/windows
3. The same mosquito net would prevent us from seeing quite fat cockroache in our kitchen. it was super unpleasant experience! (and again, I understand they it happened due to climate and location but the owners can prevent it)
4. Shower is not comfortable. there is no holder for shower to wash your head (only one at the bottom of the bathroom). Water is usually cold/barely warm and you need to wait quite long time for it to become warm…sometimes waiting is not helping
5. It’s noisy! And I’m not talking about some outside noise. You can hear every time the doors scratching the floor. it’s not a problem if you have same regime with other people. But for us it was uncomfortable because 1 person was waking up earlier AND SO DO WE. even though the other person tried to be as quite as possible, the doors were too loud
6. You kinda will have “everything” in the apartment but kinda not. There are 4 coffee cezve but no properly working stove, for example.
7. It’s a very bad ventilated apartment. Even if you open window and suffer from mosquitoes and cockroaches - it’s not helping. I’m not even telling if you are not open these windows/doors
all in all it seems you can find much better places for the same price. after this apartment we stayed 1 night in hotel (it even had working stove! and no mosquitoes and cockroaches 😅) for the same price. so, we are going quite disappointed with this stay.
