The La Dimora nel Corso is the location everyone should want to stay at. It is centrally located around all the things to see but maintains the charm of a lived in neighborhood in an Italian town. I would not change anything. The location and staff are wonderful. Montepulciano is hilly bit there is hotel specific parking that you can arrange with the owner.

The staff was exceptional at responding to our requests. Also made dinner reservations 2 nights for us and the restaurants both exceeded our expectations.
The street outside was pretty steep for older folks. But the manager helped us with our luggage. Elevator was a real plus.

We were surprised to find it was a small apartment rather than a hotel room. We chose the option to pay a little extra for breakfast, which was not available. There are plenty of places nearby to have meals. There was a kitchen where one could cook, but we were not prepared for that. I was able to make a cup of tea, though. The view was from the kitchen door that led to a small garden, which was lovely. The bed and furniture were comfortable. The only issue was that my husband is 6'3" tall and could not stand up straight in the shower because the ceiling is angled. Otherwise, we had a pleasant stay.

When you enter you are made to feel very welcome.Location is perfect, in the middle of everything.I would advice parking outside the walls if you are nervous about narrow streets
