Great location. Comfortable bed.
Check in should in theory go smoothly- one receives a code to enter the apartment on the day of check in. We requested an early check in, which was not granted (and that’s fine), but we then also didn’t receive the code even after 16h (official check in time). I wrote to the host via Booking and WhatsApp and didn’t get a response until I called him around 16:15. He seemed somewhat confused.
The dog that was mentioned in previous reviews is barking non stop, we didn’t get much sleep.
The couch could be replaced, it is very uncomfortable and there is basically no living room area.
The house was very cold and the heating didn’t seem to work.

Very clever reimagination of a small historic house- retro-fitting is always difficult: this one has been done very well.
Excellent kitchen, heating good, shower a little cramped but fully functional
Door code for entry instead of keys- this works really well, happy not to have responsibility for keys.
The house is owner managed- as such, visitor registration was made very easy compared to properties which are managed by agencies wanting visitors to log in to some obscure web site and enter all their details…
This is at the top end of town, so a bit of a walk from the bus station… but for those with a car, this location would be a big plus.

The location is really good so you can go walking to the center. The bedroom is upstairs so it’s good that it’s separated from the kitchen. The apartment has a washing machine that you can use which is very much appreciated if you are traveling and need to wash your clothes.
The bathroom was small but you can see that in the pictures, so no surprise. When we arrived the heating was not working, but the owner quickly came to fix it and then it worked properly.
