This stunning home was just totally renovated this past year.
The gorgeous "House of Joy" is a TOWNHOUSE. It develops on three floors and has an independent entrance.
As in every townhouse, there are STAIRS, please don't complain about it. Look at the positive side: 3 levels mean more privacy...

The house is located in one of Venice's most exclusive and peaceful areas.
Far away from the mad crowd and the chaotic cheap buzz of unauthentic Venice, this house is only one stop away from St. Mark Square, 3 minutes by foot from Punta della Dogana and Chiesa della Salute and just behind the Guggenheim Museum.
The 2 public boat stops closest to the house are Spirito Santo, a few steps away from the entrance, and Zattere (a few minutes away from the door)
A private dock is next to the entrance, so you can comfortably be dropped off by your private boat/taxi.
You are in the heart of one of Venice's most authentic and exclusive areas, surrounded by silence, peace, and the occasional seagull's call.
The house features whimsical and elegant interiors, modern art pieces, TVs, central heat, AC in every bedroom, and Wi-Fi.
There's a compact, fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, stove, espresso and American coffee maker, dishwasher, and 2 made to measure tables.
I would anyway encourage you to TRY ALL THE GREAT, AUTHENTIC ( and incredibly well-priced) "CICCHETTERIE," " BACARI," " TRATTORIE," & " OSTERIE"! It is FUN, first, AND FOOD IS PRETTY AMAZING IN ITALY _Take advantage of it!!!
THE BEST PART? These hidden gems are not expensive.: ) ASK US for SUGGESTIONS: we have plenty for ALL BUDGETS...
***The washing machine and dryer are available for your clothes, BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THERE IS A 15 E EXTRA FEE PER PERSON PER STAY (UP TO A WEEK ) FOR PROFESSIONAL LAUNDRY/DRY CLEANING.
***There's a mini bar in every bedroom to store your favorite booze, a REAL LIFE SAFER for those lazy evenings... ;-)

Host Gioia (Joy) was a joy indeed (pun intended). She was a wealth of information and ideas. Truly on of the best host's I have encountered. We took her up on a number of her suggestion's and they did no dissapoint. Such a pleasureably house in a quaint little nook in a quiet neighborhood.

If you are looking for a convenient location and comfortable stay in Venice, I would strongly recommend. The host Joy is wonderful and recommended top notch restaurants and best places to visit during our stay (Murano/Burano was lovely). Her recommendations saved us time and enhanced our overall experience. The townhouse is beautiful! I stayed in the bedroom with the on-suite bathroom on the third floor and it was private and gorgeous! The host has an eclectic taste, and each room had its own theme. We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to stay here again next year😊

Absolutely incredible. The place was immaculate. Very clean, decorated great, better than we thought it would ever be. We loved the area of town because it was in an area that was a little quieter and very nice. The place was clean, comfortable and very nice! We have been staying at places all around Europe the last month and by far this has been the best. Our host was awesome and very accommodating. Loved it and will definitely stay here again!
