Just 6 blocks from the French Quarter, this Victorian mansion is the perfect place for groups looking to stay right near the action. Rest up in this newly-restored home before you hit the town again. Featuring original hardwood floors, memory foam mattresses, antique furniture and a full set of amenities (smart tv, full kitchen, washer dryer), this beauty has everything you need to spend a luxurious weekend in New Orleans! Property is located along the I-10, Claiborne Ave Corridor.
Kitchen stocked to prepare any meals, Keurig with coffee provided. Lovely living room and kitchen with breakfast bar. All bathrooms come with essentials such as 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/bodywash and fluffy towels!
Entrance is through the front. Street/driveway parking available. Second, separate unit attached to the back of the house.
This vacation rental is managed professionally by Blue Door Management. We have a full-service staff, including maintenance for all needs during your stay!
A lot of action in this neighborhood. Second lines and gatherings often spring up out of nowhere and will enhance your experience of New Orleans traditions. At times it can be noisy.
This is a bustling street that hosts a large walking celebration most Sundays. It`s filled with street vendors, food, drinks and was started years ago to celebrate New Orleans Saint`s WINS! We encourage you to join in on the fun! There is the potential for loud noise during :)

3. Quiet Hours: 10:00 PM ā 8:00 AM
- š« Noise complaints may result in removal from the property and a $200 disturbance fee
4. No Parties / Events: Strictly prohibited
- š« Violations: $500 fee + any additional damages
5. No Unauthorized Guests: Only registered guests allowed overnight
- š« Extra guest: $100 per person per night
6. No Smoking or Vaping Indoors
- š Evidence of smoking: $250 cleaning fee
7. Pets: Only allowed with prior approval
- š¾ Unauthorized pets: $200 fee + cleaning/damages
8. Parking: Park only in designated spaces. Towing may apply for violations (guestās expense).

The location of the house on the VRBO map is inaccurate. It is located directly below I-10. Overall the interior of the house was clean and generally worked well for us. The location of the house is not suitable for children or anyone that is not used to or comfortable being in close proximity unhoused people and drug use. Specific inaccuracies in the rental description: -Private pool: the pool appears to be shared by multiple units. There is no direct access to it from this rental, to access it one must walk around the house. -Balcony: there is no balcony that we could figure out how to access, not that youād want to be outside. -Keurig: regular coffee pot, not Keurig-There are only 4 dining room chairs.-Entire home: description there is a second āseparateā unit attached to the back of the home. Reality stairwell in the house with a no trespassing sign and a plywood board mostly covering the entrance with no way to secure this from inside the house.-The āfully stocked kitchenā had only 5 forks, and just a handful of glasses. Most were plastic. -Most problematic: āA lot of action in this neighborhood. At times it can be noisy.ā Being directly under I-10 is the least of the noise. Music across the street at the highest volume with yelling (profanities) at all hours. The noise was intolerable at times. We witnessed drug use (smoking crack) on the sidewalk next to the house and across the street. When coming and going we were yelled at by people on the street.

The house itself is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for our stay with 10 people. The location on the other hand was farther than what the booking made it seem from the French Quarter. Also mis leading when viewed on map. The reviews about the noise are not exaggerated the neighborhood is loud especially on game days and the sounds of the cars along the street and freeway is overwhelming at times. Yet the house rules ask you to be quiet by 10. Does not apply to the world around you. There were no incidents but the neighborhood is a little rough around the edges. With the free way over pass right in front of the house it is not much of a view. But the inside is clean, historic, and a real NOLA gem. Was a little disappointed in the communication as well. They forgot to mention somethings like how to get to the pool, the code for the gate and to get in the house. It took several communications to get everything and never used the pool because we didnāt get code until the 4th day of a 5 day stay

The house was beautiful and worked great for our group of 9. The only downside was the neighborhood. It was right next to the freeway and was in a very bad area of town. Very noisy at night making it hard to sleep well. Other than that we had a visit
