The location of the property in Mid-City is perfect. So close to the trolley! The inside was nice, especially the upstairs! Excellent kitchens on both floors and the laundry room was handy! Bring your own broom, dustpan, and mop. Overall, an excellent stay and the host was very attentive.

Recently stayed here and it really is a nice place to stay. Layout is a little getting use to. It’s actually 2 1/2 baths. Upstairs, the bedrooms are pretty much joined together with a door that separates them. One room has the full bath and other has 1/2 bath, so when you want to shower, you need to go through the other bedroom. Not a big deal for all of us, but it may be a privacy issue for some. Downstairs is pretty much the same. We had “0” issues with location and George was great with communication with me. Would definitely consider again using this place.

The house was quirky, as expected from the reviews. It was nice having a gate that locked the cars in. It was very convenient to get on the Canal St. Streetcar. It was about three blocks. The back patio was nice to sit on. Communication with the host was an issue. I contacted the host on the first day to ask how to get the hot tub to heat up, but got no response. Also contacted him on the second day with no response. If something had been a serious issue, I guess we would have been out of luck. We did receive check out instructions though. :/

I’m not sure when the pics were taken but the property doesn’t look like the pics. The main LR blinds were broken, the main DR table only had 3 chairs. We had booked based on the number of beds and the hot tub. It did have 6 full size beds which was nice but the hot tub was broken and we werent notified until after we arrived. The downstairs toilets rocks when you sit on it and that kitchen lacked any glasses, plates or utensils. Overall it was a disappointing stay as it looked nothing like the pictures. The one positive was the responsiveness of the host who respond promptly anytime we had an inquiry.
