We were right on the Grand Canal, next door to San Samuele vaperetto stop. It was lovely watching all the boats go about their daily lives. And it was very quiet in the evening. We slept very well in the massive bed.
On first glance, there was nothing wrong with the apartment. Then you need a glass for a wine. No glasses, not even in the bathroom. No corkscrew to open said bottle. Plates? Nope. Cutlery? Nope. Mugs/cups? 2 paper ones to last the whole stay. Bin bags? One in the bathroom, (which has a macerator so please only put loo paper and poop ). Wall light in living room matches the chandelier.. no switch. If you spend about 200 euros on it, I would score it a ten. It’s just niggly little things that spoil it.

The location was amazing. It was steps away from a water bus stop. After exploring the area, we found a plaza, nice shops, restaurants, and a market. There were other water bus stops so you had an option to many destinations.
Unfortunately, the facility was not as clean as we had hoped and the AC only worked in the kitchen area and the landing at the bottom of the stairs. There was a kitchen but we were not allowed to use the kitchenette. We did have access to the refrigerator but had not been defrosted for quite some time. The main bedroom did not have AC but we did find a fan. Don’t open the windows as the bugs will fly in and attack one of you. Our younger son was the target of these bugs. The room downstairs had some sort of AC but it was very warm with a distinct odor. The bathroom was passable but only by a margin.
