Near Amboise, quiet and bright 120 m2 apartment-house.

Near Amboise and Chenonceau, on the edge of a wine-growing hamlet and along the "La Loire à vélo" cycle path, the gîte "Chez Lucie en Touraine" welcomes you with views of the vineyards. We are in the commune of Montlouis-sur-Loire (wine A. O.C), in the hamlet of Husseau.
Located on the ground floor of our house, your apartment with terrace and garden includes:
- An independent entrance
- A large living-dining room (about 50 m², with a fireplace)
- A fitted and equipped kitchen (13 m²)
- 3 rooms :
• 1 bed of 160 by 200
• 1 bed of 140 by 190
• 4 beds of 90 by 190, bunk 2 to 2
- A large bathroom (bath + shower)
- A toilet
Bikes available, subject to conditions.
On request: cot, potty, stroller and small paddling pool.
We live upstairs (we are a family of 4), only our kitchen is on the ground floor, adjoining yours. There is no communication between your apartment and ours, you are independent. We are committed to respecting your privacy, while remaining available if you have questions about the region or to chat.
The 2600 m² enclosed garden is shared. Your space of over 500 m², not overlooked, is located to the east of the house. We use the part on the other side of the house, to the west. You have deckchairs, a parasol and a barbecue. Your children can enjoy the swings, the slide and the trampoline. The latter, in the northwest, is shared with our children 7 and 10 years old.
The castles of Amboise and Chenonceau are 9 and 15 km away and the Loire à Vélo passes by the gate. On foot, from the cottage, you can tour the cellars, walk among the vineyards, visit the Touraine aquarium, take a pony ride, watch the sunset over the Loire ...
We are in the heart of the Loire castles, a UNESCO World Heritage site, near Clos Lucé, Tours, Chaumont, Blois, not far from Villandry, Chambord, Cheverny, Loches, Langeais, Azay-le- Curtain etc.
The house is located on the Touraine Wine Route and next to the GR3. Many activities are available to you: visits to cellars and tastings, canoeing, troglodyte sites, hot air ballooning, amusement parks and park of mini-castles for children, Beauval Zoo, Futuroscope… You will find an outdoor swimming pool in the town . There are also many activities and events in the region: parties, concerts, shows ...

We, a party of two adults, enjoyed the house as a hide-out from which we planned our visits to the castles. The house is spacious and could have 6-8 people. Well equipped kitchen with all you need if you love cooking. Balcony around the house with great views over the vineyards and with large table to enjoy your meals or just drinks and snacks. Also private garden. And on hot days a jump in the pool to cool down. We did not bike but the house is also a great base to explore the Loire Valley by bike. Host Lucie is very friendly and helpfull. I would recommend this house to adults but also families with kids. We enjoyed staying in the house!

Très bon séjour dans cette belle maison de campagne à quelques kilomètres de Tours. Les propriétaires sont charmants et discrets. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
