About this cottage rental
Located 15 km from the Château de Chenonceau, we will welcome you in our cottage where you will appreciate the charm of our Tourangelle countryside.
Recently renovated by the owners and with a capacity of 8 beds, the cottage is equipped with all the necessary comfort to spend a pleasant stay with family or friends.
Our cottage is accessible by the A85 motorway, 2km from exit n ° 11 or by the departmental D31.
The cottage of Calognière is available for rent all year round. Consult our availability calendar now and come and discover the pleasures of Touraine.
Our cottage has a living room, a fitted kitchen (dishwasher, oven, induction hob, fridge with freezer) and 3 bedrooms (containing 3 double 140 beds + 2 single 90 beds and a sofa bed)
Available: table tennis table, barbecue, garden furniture, deckchairs, cot and high chair, swimming pool to be shared with the owner.

We have had an amazing vacation in this lovely house!
The house contains everything one needs and more. Everything is clean and perfectly maintained (inside the house as well as outside).
The kids really enjoyed the pool area, the table tennis and the swing. They also enjoyed visiting and feeding "Bromil" the donkey every day (aparantly his favorite food are banana peels).
The house is located in the middle of the Loire Vally very close to the main Chateaus.
There is a lovely small town a few minutes away with a great bakery and a supermarket.
Henri the owner is the nicest person and did his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.
We highly recommend!
P.S. - unlike other reviews I read, the wifi was very good and we had no problems streaming Netflix

Well equipped comfortable property in a beautiful peaceful setting. Ideally situated for visiting the villages and chateaux of the rivers Loire and Cher. Lovely large pool to relax by.

We had a lovely stay at this property.
Quiet rural area, property on Same site as owner who was available to answer any questions. Pool was lovely for a dip after a long day exploring local Chateaus.
Plenty of space around property to play games on the grass, swim, petanque pitch.
Local attractions include Amboise and a visit to the chateau. Highly recommend is a day visit to Zoo Beauval - World class. The Bird show is excellent.
Local Supermarche is roughly 25minites drive in local town Blere. Local Boulangerie Des Roses about 10 minutes drive - go early to get croissants - also don't miss out on the meringues.
Internet WiFi included but is very slow (1Mb down, 0.5Mb up) so don't expect to do much other than plan travel days. You need to use mobile data sometimes. So no streaming of movies etc is possible in the evening when kids go to bed. But there is plenty to do and this is only a small inconvenience.
A great stay. Well recommended, and we would return in the future.
