Beautiful, and fascinating location and the hosts were so generous with the fabulous shared garden. Such an interesting house, village and location. Perfect. Cafe Corbon, approx 100 metres away was fantastic as was the boulangerie!
Hosts were very friendly, made some brilliant suggestions of local things we might like to do. But we were also very private in our little villa.
Rochecorbon is a very pretty and interesting village, with lots of great walks. Super to walk to Vouvray for some wine tasting, then stroll back along the lanes through the many many vineyards!
The River Loire, was 3 mins walk away; very beautiful!
We were there for 2 weeks and didn't travel further than 30 miles in any direction; so much to see and do locally. And we loved just relaxing at home and in the village.
Recommend going to local car boot sales! Great finds and an excellent chance to speak French! Lots of fun and people are so friendly.
Recommend Tours and Loches. But so much to enjoy!
Blinds in the kitchen would have been great! It was very hot and very bright!!
