About this house rental
Malona is a small greek village on Rhodes, which is surrounded by orange, lemon and olive tree fields.
My in this village located, lovingly renovated traditional and superbly appointed room house on three levels, with around 80 square meters max. 4 people. In the bedroom, the double bed with a continuous, back-friendly extra thick mattress is equipped. Two other sleeping arrangements offers the comfortable sofa bed in the spacious living room. The large Smart TVs with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi provide relaxing entertainment and information from home.
The superbly appointed and exceptionally designed kitchen offers everything for the preparation of breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The secluded garden and the sun terrace invite you to linger and enjoy. Let enjoy a nightcap at the BBQ and a glass of wine.
Experience the original village life - the baker's shop, a shopping village supermarket or at a Greek coffee in Kafenio the marketplace.
Enjoy relaxed sun and beach days on the lying near beaches of Agathi and Haraki.

We chose the location of Malona because of its proximity to the quiet but pretty resort of Haraki. The house was perfect; extremely spacious with lots of appliances including a superb coffee machine and orange juicer. There was lots of storage in the house including wardrobe and drawer space in the bedroom. The pictures of the house do not do it justice as it is very difficult to get the impression of scale from them.
On our arrival we were disappointed to discover that the wifi was not working because the electricity cable was missing. This meant that our first day was spent in Rhodes town trying to acquire a cable which was no mean feat! However Anna and Petra were very apologetic and offered us a meal at Kosta and Eleni in Haraki village as compensation. This was very much appreciated and meant that we discovered one of the best restaurants in the village to which we returned twice more!
Anna was very helpful during our stay and offered us a mid term clean which was also greatly appreciated. She also came to our rescue when we somehow managed to change the safe code and were unable to open it!
It must be noted that the village is very quiet and lacking in activity. This was not a problem for us as we had a car and spent lots of time in Haraki, Lindos and exploring the rest of the island.

Me and my partner went to Rhodes for 10 days and resided in this holiday home in a somewhat remote village. We were greeted by Anna who showed us to the appartment, throughout the holiday she was very helpful. My first impressions from the outside were average but I had to remember I was in Greece and not England.
Without exaggerating, the pictures do not do this place justice. It looks a lot bigger in person and it is very well equipped. The kitchen is really nice and we took full advantage of it by cooking and preparing food regularly.
The outside terraces are very nice. The upper terrace is reached via the bedroom and it was really nice to relax there in the evening to see the moon and stars.
The area might put certain holiday goers off since it is a small village 7km away from the nearest touristy spot called Haraki. The small village that the house is situated in has a few local supermarkets and restaurants that are certainly worth checking out.
All in all I couldn't recommend this place enough. It was great for us as we like to explore and enrich ourselves in local culture.
