In Schotten OT Breungeshain directly at the Eichelbach - the ski lift is very close and is within easy walking distance.
It is 3 km to the Hoherod head. Here there are many possibilities for free time, such as summer funicular, climbing forest, tree tops and much more. The closeness to nature lets you switch off from everyday life and brings relaxation
The Niddatausee is about 10 km away and offers the opportunity for surfing, boating, swimming, playground for the little ones.
The Vulkanradweg is nearby and many hiking trails, For example, to the baptismal stone, Eg to Bilstein etc invite to hiking.
The castle of Laubach invites you to fall and winter magic.
In winter, skiing and tobogganing is possible - a ski run "Rennwiese" and cross-country skiing and tobogganing, horse-drawn carriage / sleigh ride u. v. more.

Sehr, sehr freundliche Besitzerin. Auskunft über Ort und Umgebung. Sehr gute Lage zur Sehenswürdigkeiten und Wanderwegen u.s.w.
Inder Küche fehlt gar nichts.
Für Kinder sind sehr viele Spielzeuge und Bücher.
Bücher auch für Erwachsene. Schöne Terrasse mit grill.

Eine große, liebevoll und sehr umfassend ausgestattete Ferienwohnung mit vielen tollen Details, von den Massagedüsen in der Badewanne über drei möblierte Balkone bis zur bestausgestatteten Küche, die wir je in einer Ferienwohnung hatten. Und eine extrem nette und um uns bemühte Gastgeberin. Dazu eine Toplage im Vogelsberg, in Laufweite zum Hoherodskopf. Wir hatten einen super Familienurlaub. Danke!

Eine sehr schöne, geräumige und bestens ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Man hat drinnen wie draußen viel Platz. Die Vermieterin Frau Roth hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen.
Die Wohnung liegt zwar direkt an einer Ortsdurchfahrt/Landstraße, aber der Verkehr hält sich in überschaubaren Grenzen und hat uns nicht gestört.
Die Lage ist im Übrigen für Ausflüge ideal - man ist mit dem Auto in gut 5 Minuten in der Kleinstadt Schotten (dort gibt es ein tolles Freibad) und in 2 Minuten auf dem Hoherodskopf, der sich als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen etc. eignet und wo es auf engstem Raum u.a. Sommerrodelbahn, Kletterwald, Baumkronenpfad, Minigolf, einen großen Spielplatz und diverse Lokale gibt.

Ein sehr schönes älteres Haus, super renoviert und modern ausgestattet. Es fehlt an absolut nichts. Die Vermieterin ist sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Nachteil ist die etwas stark befahrene Durchgangsstrasse zum Hoherodskopf, dadurch allerdingsstrategisch hervorragend gelegen. Gerne wieder
