About this house rental
The vacation home is located in a vacation home park in the North Hessian Mountains.
The vacation home plots are surrounded by their own lawns and separated from each other by hedges and trees. The house is modern and standard furnished. For recreation, there is a trim trail and hiking trails nearby.
Space for strollers, firewood or your bicycles is in the lockable bike shed. Enjoy great tours by bike in the Knüll Mountains.
Two sun loungers and 6 new garden chairs with a large table are also available.
Nestled between Knüllwald and Fulda valley is the Rotkäppchenland in the middle of the North Hessian mountains. The name reminds of the home of the Brothers Grimm and belongs to the German Fairy Tale Route. Numerous well-developed hiking and biking trails invite you to explore culture and nature, such as the railroad bike path Rotkäppchenland, the Schwalm bike path and the Fulda bike path. Characteristic for the Rotkäppchenland is also a large number of museums, which provide excellent insights into the history of the country and numerous special features.
Bad Hersfeld, which is only 15 km away, also belongs to the absolutely recommendable excursions and welcomes its visitors with a great half-timbered old town as well as numerous spa, cultural and leisure facilities. The abbey ruins are considered the largest Romanesque basilica north of the Alps and are now the largest Romanesque church ruins in the world.
In winter, the vacation home is the perfect starting point for your skiing vacation. The Eisenberg tobogganing and skiing area is 12 km away from the Seepark.

Beim Check in warteten wir statt der angekündigten 10min 45min vor dem Haus bis die Zuständige kam. Keine Entschludigung für die Verspätung, ein Herzliches Willkommen oder ähnliches. Bei Rückfragen ging stehts ein mäßig freundlicher Mann ans Telefon.
Bei dieser Unterkunft muss man wirklich alles selbst mitbringen. Handtücher, Bettwäsche, Geschirrtücher, Toilettenpapier, Spülmachinentabs etc.
Das Haus roch immer leicht muffig, was auch durch ständiges Lüften nicht wegging. Im Haus waren durchdas Lüften unglaublich viele schwarez Fliegen. Fenster mit Fliegengitter wären daher angebracht gewesen.
Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig. Leider gibt es nicht mal einen Spielplatz für Kinder. Da wo mal einer war, sieht man nur noch überwucherte Reste.
Der Strandabschnitt am See sieht gut aus. Eine Tischtennisplatte sowie ein Beachvolleyball Feld lädt zum spielen ein. Die Minigolfanlage ist leider schon in einem sehr verfallenen Zustand und snicht nutzbar.
