Güntersberge is a district of the city of Harzgerode in the district and low mountain range Harz. Since April 4, 2001 Güntersberge is a state-approved resort. Northwest of the village lies the early modern deserted Selkenfelde in the Selke valley. At the western entrance to the village is the Bergsee, a former mill pond that dams the Selke River.
