About this house rental
The holiday house BABIS is located on an enclosed nature property with a wide view of the Libyan Sea, next to the small holiday ressort PETRA MARE with pool, near Triopetra in the wilrd romantic South of Crete. Guests in BABIS can also use the pool of the holiday ressort (40m distance).
The functionally furnished holiday house BABIS is sight-protected by a wall from outside views. The house has a ground level entrance via the terrace. The small living room with a kitchen nook is followed by the two bedrooms and the bath. From the south-facig roofed terrace in the front you have an excellent free view across the hills and valleys overgrown with olive trees and the blue sea. At the side of the holiday house there is another terrace that is sight-protected.
The 50sqm freshwater pool (approx. 5 x 10m and 1,20 to 1,80m deep, non-heatable, in operation from 1.05.-31.10.) and the sunbeds and parasols are for the shared use of all guests and provide cool refreshment and bathing fun on hot summer days.
The house is also bookable during winter on a monthly rent basis.
Secluded tranquillity, Mediterranean country idyll, a charming coastal landscape, magnificent sandy beaches and a very clean sea is what you can expect in this part of the southern coast of Crete.
The distance to the next village Akoumi is about 10 km. The distance to Spili, where you have a wide choice of shopping facilities is approx. 20km. There are some taverns on the large beach of Triopetra in a distance of approx. 2,5km from your holiday domicile.

Stimmige Beschreibung, alles sehr sauber, einfache Einrichtung, Erneuerung von Bett und Matratze wāre angebracht. Super Betreuung und Hilfsbereitschaft vor Ort, inkl. einfachem Kontakt per SMS und schneller Reaktion. Örtliche Gegebenheiten und Umgebung sind wie von vielen Gästen beschrieben. (Sep. 2019)

Beautiful views from cottage, peaceful country area, good access to property as Lane was tarmaced during stay. Cottage well fitted out for holidays, clean and spacious. Good tavernas in vicinity, beaches accessible and quiet- fantastic scenery, brilliant for walking

Very relaxing away from hustle of the north coast. Owner very pleasant and helpful. Car essential. Two closest beaches good but excellent sheltered beach brilliant for snorkelling 15 minutes drive away. Pick up food in Spili or Akoumia as no shops nearby. A good base for exploring southern Rethymno
