For authentic Crete lovers, far from the crowd, lovely house recently renovated in Vafes in Apokoronas (Chania district). In the heart of the village. Half way between Chania (35 kms) and Rethymno (35 kms); less than an hour to the south coast ans 12 kms from the beach, Vafes (in greek : Βαφές) is ideally located to explore this beautiful island !
Spacious house of 70 sqm with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms/ WC plus a sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped kitchen with micro wave oven Covered terrace '30 sqm) and large terrace '(56) with view on the White Mountains Possibility to rent also a small house semi attached and independant for 2 people
I dont live in this house but only 15 minuts away and will give you all necessary informations and help
Vafes is an authentic old traditional village with 2 cafes, a little grocery and a restaurant.
3 kilometers away the village of Vrisses with all commodities
Many walks in the mountains around the village. Bird watching. there are some buses but they are scarce so renting a car is advised
For economical holidays, walks in the moutains and the gorges, and yet, near everything

L'ouest de l'île est assez riche en activités et la localisation du gîte est parfaite pour irradier dans cette région. La maison et les terrasses sont agréables, la proximité de la taverne typique avec une bonne moussaka maison est un atout supplémentaire. Le seul petit bemol: les ventilateurs dans les chambres ne suffisent pas et les nuits sont chaudes. La pièce de vie où il n'y en a pas était une fournaise. Notre fils n'a pas pu y dormir.

Jolie rénovation en pierre dans un village agréable, très belle déco .
La location dispose de deux belles terrasses avec vue sur le village et la vallée. Elle dispose de tout le confort nécessaire pour passer de bonnes vacances au calme.
Véronique et Armand vous donneront les bonnes adresses , ainsi que les lieux à ne pas manquer.
