Location was excellent, with easy access to everything. The view of the castle from my room was a lovely highlight. Self check-in was straightforward thanks to the clear instructions, and the sheets were particularly comfortable and of great quality.

I found the mattress a bit too firm for my liking. There was also a slight smell in the room, possibly coming from the bathroom drain, although it was quite subtle.

Scaligero Rooms is located very centrally in Verona which is optimal to visit the historical sights. Before our arrival we received parking instructions from the host which was very helpful.

Unfortunately, Scaligero Rooms wasn’t very organized regarding the check in and the room assignment. First we were wrongly asked to pay a higher price and then we got a room with a clearly lower room category than we booked (Deluxe Double Room vs. Superior Double Room). We asked the staff about it, but were told that all rooms are the same which is simply not true. No apology, no willingness to cooperate or offer something to compensate. Overall, in terms of hospitality there is room for improvement.
