About this house rental
House furnished in a simple and practical, with dishwasher, washing machine and TV. It has a large terrace with extensive views of Campese Bay to the distant islands of Monte Cristo, Elba and Sardinia. Table on the terrace for cocktails at sunset, with the lights of the medieval village that light up one by one. To appreciate fresh fruits and vegetables of the place. Thursday and 'on market day with many interesting things to buy. The port offers seaside restaurants with fresh fish to eat in the moonlight after a sunny day on the beach or a boat trip. The castle features theater performances under the stars and the week of the Opera.
The beautiful beaches are ideal for children, especially at Cannelle which has a white sand like the Caribbean and the sea and 'shallow. The Boat Taxi will also accompany the most distant beaches and come back to pick you up when you're ready. For those who enjoy walking (hiking) there are accompanied paths, a healthy and fun way to learn about the island.
The altitude of 450 meters above sea level makes the air fresher and more pleasant in the evening.
The island can be reached by ferry departing from Porto S. Stefano (GR), Agencies: Maregiglio or Toremar, 12 nautical miles away (45 minutes of navigation). Once you reach the port of the island you can reach Giglio Castello (5 Km) by public line or by car - our holiday home "La Serretta" # 6777541 is located in Via S. Maria, 32 of Giglio Castello outside the medieval center. Mrs Luciana, the curator of the order and cleaning of the house, will be waiting for you in Piazza Gloriosa, who will show you the accommodation and hand over the keys to the house. For any hydraulic problems (Gas, washing machine, dishwasher) call Remo and Mrs. Luciana. The island offers beaches such as the bay of Campese visible from our house or cliffs accessible in the final part even on foot through mule tracks / paths as the southern tip of Capelrosso, everywhere enjoying transparent waters. Every year at the end of September (this year 2018 on days 27,28,29) the event of the open cellars takes place to taste typical dishes and local products such as Ansonaco wine, a unique specialty of the island of Giglio.

piano terra di una villetta spaziosa vicina alla piazza principale da cui si sale sale nella parte pedonale fortificata e da cui partono gli autobus. Bella e comoda, forse poco agevole entrare nella proprietà in auto specialmente quelle più grandi

Lovely views, access to the property is a little difficult but once you have done it once it is easier.
Was perfect for our stay, easy to walk to restaurants and the village. Really nice neighbour and the host's brother lived upstairs and told us some amazing history of the island,
