I stayed because I was attending an evening event in Shrewsbury and travelled by train. The location was very central enabling me to walk from the station. The room was clean and comfortable and even had a private balcony/ garden area, staff all helpful and a scrummy full English breakfat

Great town centre location, excellent breakfast and and thriving bar at night… will definitely be staying again in the not to distant future. What a great find.

Our room was small but had everything we needed. The only negative it was hot and there was no Aircon, however, this is probably to be expected in a hotel like this. The decor was lovely though, sort of modern vintage and it was very central. The market was opposite and the Dingle maybe a 5 minute walk. Breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice. We also found drinks and snacks in the evening to be very competitively priced.
Service was excellent, nothing too much trouble and always with a smile. We would recommend anyone give this lovely hotel a go.
