About this house rental
The house is ideal if you want to spend some time in peace and quiet surrounded by nature. It is located in a valley, next to the lively stream Hotenjka surrounded with pastures and woods. To the west, there is a view of some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps.
The house is built in a typical (Idrija-Cerkno) style on the foundations of over a 100-year-old mill’s homestead. Modern furnished interior is divided into 4 rooms, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with a dining room. Amenities enable comfortable accommodation and include a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and a bathtub. There is a fireplace which gives the house a warm and romantic atmosphere.
Outside there is a terrace overlooking the stream Hotenjka and a fruit orchard. The location is ideal for mountain biking. You can also go hiking; a few-minute-drive away is the Idrijca river where you can find numerous fishing and swimming spots. There is also a chance of organised hunting with the local hunting association.
Nearby there are the towns Tolmin, Cerkno and Idrija, where you can taste local cuisine and get to know the history of the places nearby (you can visit the remains of the second largest mercury mine, follow the paths of the military Soča front or drive yourself towards Bohinj and then Bled on a motorail). For adventure enthusiasts there are several possibilities for water sports and paragliding. In the winter you can visit a nearby Cerkno ski resort.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful house with its waterfalls and hot tub, sheep and lizards that came to visit. The children and ourselves had a great time.

Das Haus ist echt der Hammer, alles da was man brauchen könnte, an alles würde gedacht und es fehlt an nichts. Vor allem die Lage ist super, ein eigene Bach und kein Nachbar, reine Luxus. Der geniale Hot-Tub auf der Terrasse hat das ganze echt komplett gemacht. Liebe Vermieter die sich um alles gekümmert haben. Wir waren 100% zufrieden und können dieses Haus an alle weiter empfehlen. TOP.

Wir waren 1 Woche hier und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist ein Traum wenn man es ruhig und abgeschieden mag. Der Bach am Haus gibt dem ganzen Charme und die Vermieter sind super nett. Alles in allem ein toller Urlaub und nur zu empfehlen.

Wir durften zwei Wochen in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und es gibt alles was man braucht. Einfach perfekt. Das Grundstück mit dem eigenen Bach, der schöne Garten und das heiße Fass auf der Terrasse waren einfach nur traumhaft. Es ist herrlich ruhig und man findet Entspannung. Im Bach gibt es sogar eine tiefe Stelle, so dass man auch mal tief eintauchen kann. Bei heißen Sommertagen genau richtig. Zum Einkaufen sind wir nach Tolmin (ca. 20 Minuten Fahrt).
Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und bei Fragen immer zu erreichen.
Ein wirklich perfekter Urlaub und wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Hvala!
