Completely alone, surrounded by oak and laurel forests, olive trees and overlooking vineyards, the sea and on clear days even the Italian Alps! Deer pull over ... every day. Guests can dine in the shade of the porch, you can enjoy the sea views from all 3 terraces, let yourself be enchanted, just you, the sea and the nature ....

We all really enjoyed our stay in Koper and the owners were very pleasant to deal with. The house is surrounded by greenery (and deer etc) in a very quiet country area, with fabulous views towards the sea. A spacious property, there was plenty of room for two adults and two late teens.Our only negative comment would be that as we like to cook on holiday we would have liked a bigger fridge and more food storage space.

The view is stunning. Every detail of the home is lovingly cared for. The period design and modern conveniences are perfectly combined. We arrived earlier than anticipated and the owner gave us excellent directions to a nearby restaurant. We adore this place and you will too!

This beautiful property is a rare find; charming and with plenty of character. It’s remote and not overlooked from a single angle so if you are seeking out peace and quiet then this is the villa for you.
Beds are comfortable and large and the whole villa is beautifully furnished in a very rustic “French shabby chic” style.
The front terrace is amazing with beautiful views and plenty of shade from the intense heat of the day.
We didn’t meet the owners but talked with them by phone and email - they were extraordinary helpful - we arrived very late so I gave them a list of items we would need ie. Bread, butter, eggs, ham, milk etc and they would not let us pay for them.
Because of the remote nature of this property you’ll definitely need a car - the nearest shop is a few miles away. It’s literally just over the border from Italy so you will have no difficulty finding great Slovenian or Italian restaurants.
The biggest recommendation I can provide is that we plan to return again in May next year!

Das Haus liegt wirklich sehr ruhig und man ist dort vollkommen ungestört. Es ist mit dem Auto gleichwohl sehr gut zu erreichen. Der Blick auf's Wasser ist fantastisch. Der Ausblick von der 'Haupt-Terrasse') geht nach Westen; man kann dort wirklich wunderbar sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Der Garten des Hauses ist gepflegt und sehr schön. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es viele; sind alle nicht weit entfernt. Ein (naturgemäß steiniger) Strand in Lazaretto ist auch zu Fuß in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Am besten, ihr fragt Maurizio oder Christian nach dem Weg; ist etwas versteckt und holprig. Wir haben es aber auch mit drei kleinen Kindern gut geschafft. Maurizio & Christian waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit; die Übergabe war völlig unkompliziert.
Nach unserem Eindruck gibt es wenige 'Haare in der Suppe', und zwar:
- kein WLAN; überdies Handyempfang eher mäßig; trägt zur Entspannung bei, hätten wir aber gerne im Vorfeld erfahren.
- öfters mal laute Party-Musik - ich nehme an, von den Strandbars in Lazaretto - zu hören. Wurde aber jeweils um 23 Uhr deutlich leiser; uns hat es nicht gestört.
- Haus insgesamt etwas zu feucht; zudem wenig Abstellmöglichkeiten im Haus; steht alles schon ziemlich voll.
- Möbel / Lampen sehr schön, aber Vorsicht geboten, wenn Kinder mitreisen.
- Qualität der sonstigen Ausstattung ist in Ordnung; aber nichts Besonderes.
- Industriehäfen sind zwar vom Haus nicht sichtbar, befinden sich aber in unmittelbarer Nähe; der Ausblick aufs Wasser beinhaltet eigentlich auch immer 3 bis 5 Öltanker / Containerschiffe; uns hat das aber nicht gestört.
- Die Miete war hoch und im Vergleich bspw zu ähnlichen Objekten in der Toskana mE etwas zu hoch.
Insgesamt haben wir wunderbare Tage in Slowenien verlebt. und können die Unterkunft guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.
