About this house rental
Built over three floors, on the ground floor is a large en-suite bedroom with large bed and superb bathroom. There is also a small kitchenette/ bar here.
The First floor has a large kitchen and dining area, with Rayburn stove and all other necessary appliances. Please note Rayburn Oven is wood fired (we supply wood). Lovely oak dining table and chairs.
Two further bedrooms, one is very large with wooden ceilings.
There is a WC and utility room on this floor.
The top floor is air-conditioned with a superb living room and master bedroom, with direct access to the rear garden terrace.
There is a lower terrace area for eating out and a wood fired hot tub.
**Please note that the hot tub is not available between October and April (inclusive).
A superb mountain location set in the middle of the cute village of Strmec. A very popular touristic area and border crossing with lots to do around.
Although the house is set back from the road the village road can get quite busy in Summer especially on weekends.
Pets - Pets are welcome, but you must complete the booking form stating whether any pets are included in the booking. We only accept a maximum of 2 dogs, it can be 1 large and 1 small, or 2 small. If you are unsure please contact us for clarification. Thank you.

We had a fantastic week in house in Strmec and had a perfect time with rafting, hiking, cycling and sightseeing.
The house is perfectly suited for 6 persons. Rooms at first and second floor are really great. We tried to use the double bedroom at base level first, but it was too noisy and then two of us had to move one level up.

We miss the mountain views from the deck! Had a great 5 night stay during the end of September/beginning of October. The house has plenty of room, the kitchen is well-equipped, and the beds are comfortable. Be aware that the VRBO listing says the house is in "the Bovec area" -- it's actually located in the mountain village of Strmec, a 20 minute drive to Bovec. You're closer to the mountains (especially Mangart), but there are no services in the village. We would definitely stay here again.
