Paradise Retreats is in a beautiful and quiet stand of redwoods, with excellent hosts, a clean pool, and plenty of outdoor space. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would absolutely visit again!

It was very beautiful and secluded.
The rooms were a little out dated but was what was shown in the pictures. We didn’t realize the rooms had shared bathrooms.

I was glad to find this spot because it’s much better than a motel in town due to the overwhelming amount of homeless people. NOTE*ANYWHERE IN DOWNTOWN SANTA CRUZ IS FULL OF HOMELESS PEOPLE. Living in SF, I just wanted to get away from the city and this was THE SPOT. It was very peaceful and remote, and also a fair price for the area. Other hotels wanted to charge 300-700$ per night…
Their pool and shared facilities were great this is a family home/business nothing like a big hotel—something to note before booking. Glad i read through the reviews to know what to expect. Rustic and homey vibe. My room had a shared bathroom we only shared with another couple and it was perfectly manageable.
Woke up in the morning to some coffee and breakfast made by Tania while her son played the piano as I watched the redwood trees sway in the morning breeze. 10/10 would stay again can’t wait to come back
