Villa La Commenda was the most wonderful house in which to stay for 2 1/2 weeks in June.It is spacious with lots of wonderful spots to curl up & read a book,appreciate the lovely art,enquire about the various ‘treasures’ scattered about or wander through the lovely grounds & swim in the pool.
The home is 100 years old but has modern amenities as well as character features.
The hosts Paulo & Gabriella were very helpful in every way and it was a real bonus that they could speak good English.
We loved the town of Faenza despite the devastation that was caused by the flooding several weeks ago.The locals were very welcoming and we enjoyed the fact that we were the only tourists everywhere we went!!This spot is not on the tourist trail however all the more famous sights are within easy driving distance.
We would thoroughly recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the REAL Italy.

Beautiful property and helpful nice owners. It would be helpful if they would look at emails more frequently.
The property management company is terrible and made contacting the owner extremely difficult. When property management can’t do their job it affects information flow.

Die Villa ist sehr geräumig und der Garten mit Pool traumhaft schön. Die Vermieter sind überaus freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit.
