About this villa rental

This ancient, typical Tuscan farmhouse, once a watchtower in 1100 BC, later an hunting lodge belonging to the Marquises Lotteringhi della Stufa, has been renovated preserving its original style.
It extends over two floors and is surrounded by woods and paddocks with grazing horses.
The fenced garden features a private swimming pool.
A large veranda with a wonderful view of the Mugello Valley is ideal for tasting wines selected by a sommelier.
Free parking in front of the house, free Wi-Fi, barbecue, laundry room, covered ping pong table and mountain bike rentals at a specialized shop.
A cot and high chair are available upon request.
Sheets and towels are provided, professionally certified.
Mattresses are certified to meet medical standards.
A comfortable and relaxing home, also ideal for families with children and pets.
Tuscan wine and food tastings, cooking lesson, can be organized by chef/sommelier who will cook at your home.
Just 45 km from the city of Florence, reachable by car or train in 30-40 minutes.

Hired this beautiful villa for me and three friends. We attended the MOTO GP at Mugello so we unfortunately didn’t spend lots of time at the villa. However, the house is very comfortable, super swimming pool. The games area was fun.We really liked the upper lounge area with the super comfy lounging sofas and large dining table.Would definitely consider renting this villa again.

Really charming property and super relaxing vacation, we spent two weeks with three families (incl 5 kids / teens and 2 dogs) and enjoyed it a lot.

This property is amazing! So quiet and serene away from the city. Visiting Florence is easy and I did it 2 times during my stay. U simply drive down the mountain about 15 min to San Lorenzo and catch 1hr train to Florence. The pool is amazing and the house has so much history. The drive up the mountain is about 15 minutes up some of it is unpaved but it is well WORTH it. Fantastic for families.
