of the Tuscan countryside.
The accommodation (75 sqm), result of a careful renovation completed in 2018,
it consists of a comfortable kitchen-living room with 42-inch TV-SAT; a bedroom
double - with the possibility of adding a cot-; bathroom with large shower; small laundry
equipped with washer / dryer and ironing facilities. In the basement you will discover a large one
room with softi- vation, sometimes for a relaxation area, also equipped with a 42-inch TV-SAT and a sofa bed.
Wi-Fi connection and heating / air-conditioning system are included in the price.
The property, located on a hill overlooking the medieval village of Lastra a Signa,
It enjoys a strategic position to enjoy a peaceful stay but a 15-minute walk away
from the city center and the train station with which you can easily reach Florence (15
minutes), Pisa, Siena, Lucca, Bologna.
On request, a shuttle service is available to the railway station and the airports of Florence and Pisa.
Our guests will enjoy the tranquility of the place, but also of various conveniences in the immediate
vicinity, such as:
- parking at 50 meters for those who reach us by car
- mini market at 100 meters
- A typical Tuscan restaurant 200 meters away
Arriving at the center of Lastra a Signa will be able to benefit from all the services they can

Overall we were impressed by the property. With 1 room and and a downstairs vault with fold out bed including a fold out bed in the kitchen, it had all amenities required. The location was ideal with a steep uphill climb however compensated with lovely views across the valley.

I stayed in this location 9 nights and enjoyed every minute. Everything is updated and I had all I needed to cook, the bed is very comfortable with extra pillows and linens and the shower was great. Giovanni and his wife Liuba were very responsive to communications and helped me figure out transportation and reservations. This apartment is outside of Florence and I found it nice to be away from the crowds, but a short drive or train ride to all Florence, and the surrounding area has to offer.

If you're looking to stay somewhere near Florence this is the place. Giovanni and his family couldn't have been more welcoming and gave lots of local recommendations. The apartment had more than enough room for me and 3 friends and had some great views. As well as only a half hour journey to the centre of Florence. Would definitely stay again, had a great time.

Giovanni and his family are wonderful. The apartment is located in a hill top winey countryside, lovely view, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen has a capsule espresso machine, capsules are provided. There is a car park a min away, 3 mins walk to the deli, also an excellent affordable Tuscany restaurant 5 mins away. The train is every hour to his village Lastra a Signa from Florence. Lastra a Signa train station is a 15 mins walk down the hill. Walking back up the hill takes a bit longer time. There is no taxi. From the train station easy reach to Lucca, Siena & San Gimignano. Overall is an excellant place and the host is more than 5 stars.
