About this house rental
A very special vacation home for 2 - 6 people. Detached house on the mountain in an absolutely quiet location above Grimaldi Superiore with 3 bedrooms, one of them in a modern garden house. All bedrooms with double beds, terraces and decks on 3 different levels, together more than 72 sqm terrace area. Breathtaking view from Ventimiglia to Cap Antibies. 350 sqm garden with beautiful old olive trees. The house is wonderfully quiet about 100 m above the village of Grimaldi Superiore and you cannot drive directly to the house by car. A beautiful dirt path leads to the house.

The location is beautifull, there are nice beaches in Italy and France. The house itself is very nice. We enjoyed the terrace and outdoor kitchen for our meals. The rooms in the house are beautifull and have nice bathrooms. Our stay was very easy and uncomplicated. You have to park at the entrance of the village but this wasn´t a big problem.

We had an amazing time at Grimaldi. The view is spectacular from every room and we enjoyed supper on the deck in the evenings and coffee in the morning - loved the church bells. It is a peaceful spot in a great area.

Het huis ligt op een mooie romantische locatie hoog op een berg. Mooi uitzicht op zee en de plaatsen Menton en Monaco. De locatie kan top zijn maar voor een fijne vakantie is meer nodig. Helaas ontbreken een aantal essentiële zaken die de vakantie negatief hebben beïnvloed. Om het huis te bereiken moet je een behoorlijk stevige wandeling maken bergopwaarts. Delen over een verhard pad of via traptreden maar 70% bergopwaarts loop je over kiezel/bergstenen. Het huis is dan ook niet toegankelijk voor ouderen of mensen met een verminderde gezondheid. Laat staan met koffers of zware boodschappen. Ook de parkeergelegenheid is zeer slecht. Van de 7 dagen heb ik de auto 3x moeten parkeren beneden aan de berg. Naast het beperkte aantal plaatsen is het een kunst als je je auto onbeschadigd terug krijgt. Iedere bewoner daar rijdt ook in een kleine auto vergelijkbaar met een Fiat Panda of 500.
Voor gasten zou dit beter geregeld moeten worden.
