Peaceful and close to local shops. Good base for exploring Cotswolds
Carpets in need of professional cleaning in some areas.
Top floor bedroom was freezing cold..the radiator was not working and obviously hadn't been for a while as a portable heater was left .however this had previously melted an area of carpet so we didn't like to use it due to safety.
No frying pan in the kitchen..we can't be the only people who like to have eggs and bacon for breakfast?
No chopping board either to protect worktops and the knob to the top grill that operates the temperature is just about hanging on.
Two of the 6 dining chairs were in very bad repair. One in particular was just about being held together by its cover. The youngest, smallest member of our party perched on the seat of the chair at meal times and ensured she didn't lean against the back but the chair is an accident waiting to happen!
There appeared to be a very slight leak in the kitchen above the glass tea and coffee jars as they were wet. We laid kitchen roll in their place and it also became soggy.
Rugs in the dining room and living room continuously "rucked up" ..we were constantly smoothing them out to prevent our elderly relative from tripping.
Parking infront of the rear garage is quite tight and one of the neighbours knocked asking if we had blocked in their garage as it's always happening (we hadn't!)
It would be a great house for 6 adults to share if it was given a bit of general maintenance all over...grubby light coloured carpet does it no favours.

Location was good 15 mins from Witney
Would have loved air conditioning 🥵 as it was a lovely hot weekend. The garden has so many tall weeds all around the bench etc. I nearly pulled them up myself not good would only take 30 minutes. I believe the owners might live away.

Good location and lovely cool house even in soaring temperatures
Property is a little dated, could do with a lick of paint throughout, garden is overgrown and would be helpful to have a few more mugs and basic crockery in the kitchen.
